The Irish American Heritage Museum is dedicated to the colorful history and culture of the Irish experience in America. Permanent exhibits at the museum feature the biographies of 19 American presidents with Irish lineage and a display on the Irish contributions to the labor movement in 19th and early 20th century America. The museum also holds a research library and hosts a number of lectures and musical events. It is located in East Durham, 30 miles southwest of Albany.
